Cost: $45--Individual  $425--Team

(We recommend 10-12 players per team (maximum roster of 15).  If you have less than 10, Way North has the right to add players to your roster.  

Rules:

*8 players on the field (3 females minimum)  may start game with 6 players (2 females minimum)

*Flag belts worn by all on the field (offensive and defensive players)

*Two 20 minute halves with a 5 minute halftime (running clock except for final 2 minutes of each half)...each team gets 2 one minute timeouts per game

*4 downs to cross mid-field (1st down) 4 downs to score

*6 point touchdowns (1 point PAT's from 5 yards...PAT's may be intercepted and returned by defensive team for 2 points)

*All fumbles are immediate dead ball (laterals may be intercepted and advanced)

*Offensive team has 30 seconds to snap ball once the ball is placed (1st warning---clock stops, each additional---clock stops and 5 yard penalty)

*Possession starts at own 5 yard line at beginning of each half and after touchdown.

*Quarterbacks cannot snap the ball to themselves 

*3 lineman minimum, not eligible receivers (no contact by lineman...can protect by moving in front of rushers but cannot initiate contact)

*Blocking---you can set picks and run interference BUT no use of hands, dropping shoulder, etc.... or initiating contact

*Receivers need only one foot in-bounds with possession of the ball

*Players cannot advance the ball by jumping or diving (ball placed at point of takeoff) but they may spin

*Receivers intentionally leaving the field of play are ineligible to receive a pass

*All punts are "free" punts (must be declared and kicked)...players can't cross the line of scrimmage until the ball is kicked...If ball touches the ground it is a dead ball where it hits the ground

*3 mississippi rush (counted by referee)

*Defense cannot hit the QB's arm at any time (5 yard penalty and automatic 1st down)

*These penalties will be 5 yards from line of scrimmage (Illegal contact by lineman, Offsides/Early Rush, Offensive Pick, Offensive interference, Unnecessary roughness, Defensive holding or checking, Non-female play executed, Illegal motion (one player at a time...player may not be in motion toward line of scrimmage when the ball is snapped), Illegal snap (player calling cadence must receive snap...no silent snaps, QB cannot be in motion))

*These penalties will be placed at spot of infraction (Illegal contact/blocking down field, Defensive pass interference...automatic 1st down, Offensive flag guarding, Defensive shirt grabbing)

*Female must be used at least every 3rd play from scrimmage (they throw a forward pass, they are intended receiver, they rush with the ball with intent to advance...as QB or running back)  PAT's are not considered play from scrimmage

*Wear your WAY NORTH SPORTS shirt !  Flag belts worn outside of shirt with flags accessible.
