Great Wolf Lodge is attempting to break the Guinness Book of World Records for the most slides in a24 hour period, multi-person, multi-venue. This Waterslide-athon is taking place to promote our new Triple Twist and more importantly to raise money for Big Brothers, Big Sisters – all donations made to this event will benefit the local Big Brothers, Big Sisters chapter.
When is the Waterslide-athon?
The Waterslide-athon will begin on Friday, March 26th at 6pm and will end on Saturday,March 27th at 6pm.
Who is allowed to slide?
The Waterslide-athon will kick off at 6pm. From6pm– 10pm our lodge guests will be the only sliders participating in the SlideA Thon. Beginning at10pm March, 26th through 10am on March, 27th the Triple Twist will be open to employees and other outside guests. All outside guests must be preregistered to participate and must sign a photo release and liability form.

Can Lodge guests stay and participate?
Absolutely! Our overnight guests are welcome to stay and ride the Triple Twist as many times as they would like.
Do we have to pay to participate?
Donations will be accepted on behalf of Big Brothers Big Sister but it is not required that sliders donate.
Will the whole waterpark be open overnight?
No – during the overnight hours of 10pm – 10am the only ride that will be open is the Triple Twist. The Triple Twist will be the only slide that is used in our attempt to break the record.
Will there be anything else to do during the Slide A Thon?
Absolutely! Our Northern Lights Arcade will remain open during the overnight hours, Spirit Island snack bar will be open for food and drinks and we will have music, raffles and silent auctions throughout the night.
How many people can ride at a time?
The Triple Twist is a single tube ride – only one rider is permitted to slide at a time!
Is there a height requirement?
Yes! Guests must be taller than 42” to ride the Triple Twist.
Do we need to bring towels?
No – Towels will be provided for your convenience.
Is there a place to change?
Yes – we have locker rooms equipped with restrooms, showers and changing areas. We will also have lockers available to rent if you choose to lock up any items.
